NASHVILLE, (May 4, 2022) –The Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA) announces its new President, Wendy Hans, Director of Fraud and Loss Control for AMC Theatres, as well as its newest restaurant Board Members:
- Jason Swanson, Senior Manager of Asset Protection at MOD Pizza
- Dan Lieberman, Director of Loss Prevention at Southeast QSR, LLC Restaurants
- Heather Hearn, Senior Security Advisor at Wawa, Inc.

She will lead RLPSA over the next two years executing RLPSA’s mission with a unique perspective and experience at AMC Theatres.”

As Director of Fraud and Loss Control, Wendy collaborates with individuals across her organization to protect AMC from fraud losses. She oversees fraud detection, investigation, and prevention for 600+ theatres, e-commerce and the loyalty program. An expert in fraud risk management, Wendy directs fraud data analytics, advises on fraud risk and potential mitigation, and administers the fraud risk assessment. In addition, Wendy is Co-Chair of the inaugural DEI Council on the AMC Women’s Experience. She previously worked in accounting systems, audit, international accounting, and theatre operations during her 30+ years at AMC.
